Frame tubing is Merckx's custom spec'd lightweight Dedacci Zerouno. It
is slightly oversized. The downtube and seat tube are ovalized at the bottom
bracket for extra stiffness. Brake bridge and fork crown are engraved. Bottom
of bottom bracket is engraved. Two sets of water bottle braze ons. Factory
internal anti-corrosion frame treatment.
Unlike the Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra frame, the Corsa-01 is not built with Columbus SLX tubing, but with much higher grade Eddy Merckx specific Dedacciai Sat 14.5 8mcdv6 tubing, ensuring a superb ride. Extremely light, and super strong, this tube set possess excellent fatigue characteristics.
